Michael Phelps is the Hercules of our time. He is descended from the gods, a son of Jupiter, a hero for all times.
But what is this so-call athletic sport now being aired from Hong Kong- Horse jumping. This is the quintessential rich man’s sport. You can’t compete unless you buy your own horse, and guess how much it is to purchase one capable of a gold medal. Consider this, when someone wins who gets the medal? It is most certainly the horse that has exhibited the atheletic talent in these competitions. Yet little if any of the credit goes to the horse. At a thoroughbred horse race it is the horse that receives most of the praise not the jockey. Perhaps these are real horse people, not these artificial athletes aboard the last of Jupiter’s winged horses. They take credit they don’t deserve and steal the medals and glory from the true athletes.

Michael Phelps is great!! It really requires a lot of talent and mostly hardwork. To get eight gold in one Olympics is unbelieveable!!

Yes, I do think Michael Phelps is the greatest Olympian, but I’m starting to get sick of all the hype. It’s just like they do with a good song…play it over and over and over until you are sick of it
